Semantics: psychosis is a state of mind that allows us to believe , sense, feel, see, smell, or hear something that doesn't exist. In schizophrenia the brain is hard wired for psychosis. Delusions are scenarios we construct out of desire or fear that we believe. i.e. those people are watching me or everyone thinks I'm awesome.
