Herpes: Make sure that you do not have Herpes Simplex or Shingles, depending on where the rash is or if it is painful. If the mark is painful, forming a blister or the skin around it is numb, it is time to see your doctor, and do it ASAP as you need anti viral medication to prevent chronic pain.
