Needs to be checked: White or grayish patches inside the mouth is called Leukoplakia or Keratosis. An irritant like a rough tooth, broken denture or chewing tobacco can cause cell overgrowth &cause these patches.Leukoplakia usually is not dangerous, but sometimes can be serius,Most leukoplakia are benign and non cancerous. Some show early sign of cancer. We can not be sure if it ia leukoplakia but I advise get it checked

Leukoplakia: White patches can be infectious such as virally related or a fungal infection orwhit patches from hyperkeratosis or even from a dry mouth. If the patches are film like and come off they are likely candida and would respond to antifungals. If they do not come off you should see your doctor or dentist and consider a biopsy, especially if you are a smoker.
