I have a lump on my right leg at the side just above my knee. it causes me some disconfort when i have been on my feet for a few hours(im a waitress)?

Not urgent : There are many causes for knee pain. I suspect this may be a bursitis if it's tender, or joint swelling if not. I would try some physical therapy for now, unless you have a history of cancer (personal or family ) or experience other symptoms like chills, fevers , etc. if concerned would see a family doc for quick screen, or physiatrist or orthopedic doc for definitive answer
