Get Rx: All acne can be treated effectively nowadays & being a teen is difficult enough without acne & postinflammatory pigmentation. Benzoyl peroxide for starters; your physician can add a retinoic acid derivative &/or Clindamycin topically; if the acne is on your trunk you'll probably need a systemic antibiotic such as tetracycline as well. Accutane for hard cases is worth the trouble & small risk.
