Dependent rubor: Is the technical term for gravity related peripheral redness. It's hard without examining to know whether this is what you are describing. I recommend consultation with a doctor licensed in your area so they can examine the pulses in your wrist. They'll then be able to establish whether or not you have any circulation problems (not common) or whether you can put your mind at ease. Good luck.

Red hands: When down blood flows into them and they look red. When above heart blood flows out of arms and they lighten up as red blood goes into venous system. Feet can do the same.
