Erythromelalgia?: There is a relatively rare condition known as erythromelalgia in which the hands or feet recurrently become very red and painful with a burning sensation. It can be familial or sporadic. In some cases, it is caused by mutations in the scn9a gene which makes a protein involved in moving sodium through the cell membrane.See your doc who may refer you to be seen by a rheumatologist or neurologist.
