Good oral hygiene: Mono is a self-limited viral infection which requires no medication. I would continue supportive care i.e. rest, hydration, pain meds, cool liquids and foods, etc. See your PCP if you have a persistent fever meaning it does not go below 100.4 after treatment with anti-pyretics.
