Shoulder/arm pain for months with ultrasound that found. partial thickness bursal surface tear of mid/posterior fibres of supraspinatus 422mm & involving 75% of fibre thickness with associated subacromial bursitis & impingement. will i need surgery?

Maybe yes or no: It depends on your symptoms, your treatment program, your physical therapy compliance. A tear does not always need surgery

Possibly: We often will try therapy and possibly a cortisone shot first, but if that does not work then arthroscopic surgery does become a consideration. Discuss with your orthopedic surgeon.
