I am experiencing a swollen tonsil from draining due to my allergies, would having my tonsils removed help?

Help What?: Getting tonsils removed is not likely to help with allergies. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex. Get HPV vaccine

No: Swollen tonsils aren't due to allergies, rather due to infection, taking them out won't help your allergy problem, but would help reduce the inflammation and recurrent tonsillitis. Check aaaai.org or acaai.org for an allergist in your area for better evaluation of your case and treatment plan, good luck
