Unrelated/can't say: Malabsorption can be bad enough to eventually kill you through malnutrition. I hernia can strangulates and burst leading to death. I can't put the two together as causing each other but they are worth attending to. Robotic surgery can be done as an outpatient on many hernias and have you back at work within a few days. Malabsorption takes a while to identify & fix the cause or causes.
