See a doc.: Fungal infections of the nail are difficult to treat. There is some evidence that Vicks VapoRub can work. See https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21209346 If this does not, see a doc, (GP, dermatologist, or podiatrist) and get a prescription for it. Laser treatment has been tried, but there are not clear guidelines yet on the best way to use them for this.

Usually: your internist or foot doctor may recommend use of vicks vapor rub on the nails, oral anti-fungal medications like Lamisil for 3 months or more. Topical anti fungals do not work. It may have hepatic adverse effects
