No: Spicy or acidic foods have nothing to do with ulcers. They neither cause nor aggravate them. We understand much about ulcers today and your gastroenterologist will guide you. NSAIDS cause ulcers by inhibiting prostaglandin which protects the digestive tract from digestion by its own enzymes. H. Pylori bacteria may also be a factor.
