Can you have a scrotal hernia without having an abdominal or groin area hernia? i thought the scrotal involvement was just a worsening of the others

?pseudo hernia: Your are correct that most scrotal involvement in hernias results from progressive movement of the inguinal hernia into the scrotal sac. However, there is a condition wherein the left testical has a varicocele wherein the venous return from the testical is blocked by the renal artery, causing swelling that appears as if it were a hernia. Also hydrocele can occur from fluid build up.
