See an ENT: There are several reasons you may feel this way including infection, swelling of lingual tonsils, benign growth of the tongue, acid reflux, etc. A visit with an ENT with a thorough head and neck examination is warranted.

Globus or dysphagia?: Simple evaluation may alleviate your concern and start you on the path to treatment, if warranted--please see your doctor. In the meantime, please refer to prior HealthTap answers respectively regarding tongue anatomy and dysphagia.
