I think i have strep throat and the only medicine i have right now is doxycycline mono 100g, will this help until i can get to a real diagnosis?

Depends: Most pharyngitis are viral or allergic-things that antibiotics do not help. Antibiotics can actually worsen these issues. Doxycycline is also not a drug of choice in paired throat.

One of the poorest: The effectiveness of this drug for strep is one of the poorest on record. Almost like doing nothing at all.You have at least a week from the start of symptoms to initiate treatment before the long term complications of strep can begin to form. Use it to get in & find out if this is really strep & get treated properly.
