Meds?: If you are on any neuroleptic medication, the fidgeting may be a side effect of your medications. People with bipolar are often on several meds - go see your doctor and review them, and discuss your symptoms. Good luck.

May be side effect: Talk with your doctor. Some medications used to treat bipolar disorder have a risk of a side effect called akathesia meaning "can't sit still". Consideration needs to be given to lowering the dose, changing the medication or adding a medicine to relieve the feeling. Your physician can recommend what it the best option for you.
