Yes, but watch GI: Given the half life of ibuprofen (advil), it would be nearly gone by 8 hours out. So you could switch to ponstel. But they should not be regularly combined like this. Once for a switchover is OK but mixing NSAIDs risks serious gastrointestinal side effects.
