Not at all: Research studies have shown that insemination PRIOR to ovulation provides the best chances for success rather than after ovulation. Spermatozoa need to swim from the IUI intrauterine placement to the fallopian tubes for conception and can viably await the egg for up to 3 to 5 days when in place.
