I am experiencing hives that formed overnight last night, and now some are turning into sores. should i go to the hospital?

Hives: You are experiencing an allergic reaction to something either internal or external, but if you have no symptoms of difficulty breathing, throat swelling, severe spreading redness or profound weakness, there is no compelling reason to go to the hospital instead of seeing your primary care physician who will evaluate you and prescribe antiallergy medications as well as get to the cause of the hives

Maybe.: Are the sores from scratching the hives? If so, stop. Take an antihistamine and see if your itching/hives improve. If not, and the sores are not due to scratching, or if you have fever, shortness of breath, trouble swallowing at all, chest pain or dizziness, do go to an ER right away. If severe symptoms, call 911.
