My son is 17months old, his testicles are not staying down n the scrotum. they are both there though as come down every now and then.. i'm concerned as i would of thought they should be staying down by now?

Temperature: Have you noted any relation to ambient temperature. Testes normally move up if the ambient temperature i low and move down when it is warm. !7 months is not soon enough to worry about it, as long as the testes come down, some of the time, it is fine. Wish you and your son good health!

Retractile testicles: Sounds like he has retractile testicles. We usually refer to a specialist if they are not down by a year old. As long as they go up and down on their own, there is no need to worry. Your son is fine. You can reassure yourself by sitting him in a tub of warm water, his testicles should be in the scrotum!
