?prednisone effect?: 60mg is a high dose of prednisone and you are obviously on omeprazole to attempt to block gastrointestinal side effects. The symptoms you describe could be prednisone effects on the GI system causing radiated pain. If the pain persists for more than 20-30 minutes you need to go to the ER for an evaluation and follow up with your PCP.
