Depends on condition: A high cholesterol does not necessarily affect athletic performance. If a person is in shape and runs regularly for an hour at enough speed, then there is no reason not to be able to run as much or as fast as one wishes. However this is a bit less than 10 minutes per mile. That is fast for many people who don't have high cholesterol!
