I have cirrhosis and am on the transplant list. liver team told me no more than 2grams tyenol/24hrs. orthopaedic who is treating torn rotor cuff suggested advil (ibuprofen) instead. which is better. kidney?

Family practice : Tylenol (acetaminophen) is worse on your liver. Advil worse on your kidney. I would recommend not taking either. Check with your primary dr.
