Probably: I certainly would followup with your surgeon, but some degree of swelling would be anticipated so soon after surgery with almost any type of knee surgery done, even knee arthroscopy.

Depends...: Swelling after surgery can be quite normal but to be certain, one would need to have more info like what procedure did you have, where exactly is the swelling, etc. Since you are concerned, you should call your surgeon to discuss this issue. Your surgeon may need to see you to determine if the swelling is a problem or not. Good luck!
