My blood pressure has been like 143/89 i drank beer on friday it's sunday now. i don't normally have hbp. very worried i'm sure stressing isn't helpin?

Reaction to alcohol.: Is the BP you're reading taken after laying flat for 5+ minutes of quiet rest in a darkened room? (That is the condition for resting BP & usually not done). If not, then non-resting BP can change depending on conditions. Alcohol is notorious for raising BP short-term. 143/89 isn't dangerously high but over the long-term, a resting BP this high can cause organ damage. Don't fret but do cut back.
