Probably not: Amoxicillin is a poor choice of antibiotic for this purpose. Many if not most infections with skin bacteria, like this one, are resistant to it. See a doctor to confirm the diagnosis and learn if you need an antibiotic, then follow your doctor's advice and prescription.
