Probably not but..: It is not a good choice because almost the all staphylococci will not be sensitive.

No: Usual adult dose for skin or soft tissue infection 250 to 500 mg orally 3 times a day for 7 to 10 days; alternatively, 500 to 875 mg orally twice a day may be administered.

No...however: The dose is rather standard, but the drug would not be my first choice. Most of these are staph & resistant to standard penicillin based drugs like amoxicillin.
