A member asked:

Can chiari w/blocked csf flow cause high prolactin levels? not pregnant breastfeeding or producing milk

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not usually: Chiari malformations typically do not cause high prolactin levels. Ironically, Chiari-Frommel Syndrome (not a Chiari malformation) IS associated with hyperprolactinemia, but that is a post-pregnancy issue with associated pituitary adenoma.
