7yrold c/o pain in throat.doc checked nd said its post nasal drip.but there are no allergic symp.is it always an allergic symptom or can be smthg else?

Throat pain: Throat pain in a 7 year old does not necessarily have to be because of allergies. Viral or bacterial pharyngitis are likely causes of throat pain. A simple common cold can also cause throat pain. Acid reflux can cause throat pain. These should be ruled out as well.
