my mom has been bleeding a decent amount for 5 weeks and doc says he thinks it's because of a bladder infection. is that possible? we are scared.

Bleeding: Leaving is not uncommon in the UTI but it should be accompanied by white cells and bacteria in her urinalysis.If she is still bleeding she may not be responding to her antibiotics. I would suggest she see her physician and be reassessed
