Hi doc,i have frequent bleeding gums.even i bite something like apple ,my gums bleed.what test shall i perform if this is related to an infection?

No test: There is no test for you to perform. You need to call a dentist for an exam and an evaluation. Appears you have gingivitis, possibly periodontitis.

Gingivitis?: If you noticed frequent bleeding gums, it may be a sign that you are at risk for or already have gum disease. Gingivitis is a serious problem, which should be diagnosed professionally by a dentist. Do not delay, call a dentist ASAP.

Test?: There's no OTC or home-based test. You will have to be examined to determine the cause of bleeding gums. Small chance it's due to systemic disease such as diabetes or leukemia.
