Ask the surgeon...: What are the age of you & your father? I am sure you are not 4. As to the suitability for a surgery, multiple factors dictate it. One after heart surgery may suggest a significant compromise in heart function and general circulation which are important concerns / criteria to assess intraoperative & postoperative complications so to decide if it is worthwhile to take a high risk. So, ask the doctor
