Bad idea. : You should call your doctor right away. It is important to be non-weight bearing to allow the fusion to heal.

Normal: It is normal for your foot to swell after this type of surgery and at only two weeks. That said if you are walking when you are not supposed to you can ruin the surgery and your foot. You should follow up with your surgeon and be frank with him or her that you have not been following their direction.

Fusion: Soreness is normal , but you may well be ruining your surgery by not following directions. You need tosee your surgeon , be frank about not following directions and get their help. Don't delay . Good luck.
