Headaches: The cause of headaches because there are several major types, e.g., vascular, sinus, muscular, tension, etc. Continue to see your conventional doctors but add a nutritionist or doctor of natural medicine who can lab test you for food sensitivities. A clinical psychologist can use biofeedback or clinical hypnosis as well. Lots of options. Peace and good health.

How long. ?: A few days of headache may be due to sinuses, tension, trauma etc. . A decongestant will clear that for you and feel much better. But if not working or lasting more than a few days you need to get evaluated. A primary MD is a better place than the ER. Thy can follow up with you. I may take multiple tests before they arrive at the cause. I'm the interim see posts on dealing with pain.
