Needs evaluation: Often with kids, I don't take chances. If your child's symptoms have not improved, then you need to call the pediatrician right away. Especially if there are other symptoms such as the nose bleeds. It's unclear if those 2 symptoms are related, but I would not waste any more time and I would get your child seen ASAP. Urgent care centers are available if there are no appointments readily available.
