Bruising: Did you have an injury to cause the bruising? If so there might have been some trauma or irritation to the superficial nerves and skin at the injured site. If no injury occurred, spontaneous rupture of a vein or capillary caused the bruising and irritability. If new bruising occurs, see your physician for evaluation.
