Dear dr i have af and taking apixaban and sotalol, is it safe to take magnesium taurate, if so what dosage can i take per day?

Shouldn't: Unless you have been diagnosed with a deficiency then do not take any electrolyte supplements. The magnesium shouldn't interfere with your medications but it could alter you baseline magnesium level which could cause problems if it goes to high.

Maybe: magnesium can interfere with absorption of sotalol and should be taken at least 2 hours apart. If you decide to take magnesium, You should start with 300 mg or less.
