A member asked:

I keep waking up with my left eye red in the sclera part (the white part) what can be causing this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not uncommon: It is possible that while you were asleep you had some minor trauma to the eye e.g. rubbed your eye with your finger or hand, blanket or sheet. If you have no eye pain but the redness does not look like it is resolving or getting larger then it is time to see your eye physician.
