Tooth ache.: Need more info. How hard was it to pull? Did the dentist have to stand on the chair and really yank? I would ask my dentist.

Tooth extraction: What your are experiencing is very common. There is often radiating or referred pain in the beginning. Also sometimes some pressure is placed on the adjoining teeth during an extraction. It should subside in 2-7 days. Check with your own dentist when to come back for a post-op evaluation.

Soreness: You had surgery. Some soreness is to be expected during the healing process. From this point on should feel a little better every day. If not, or if you are not pleased with the healing process, schedule a post-surgical reevaluation appointment with your surgeon.

See doc if persists: You should expect tenderness for a number of days from the surgery. But, if its still there 5-7 days later, make sure to get in to see the oral surgeon.

Probably OK: if it feels better after a week, it's ok but if it gets worse or lasts more than a week, see your dentist.
