A member asked:

Hiv pcr negative at 9 weeks since last risk exposure & anti-body testing non-reactive at 7 months. is it conclusive? can i stop worrying now?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You can stop worrying: but don't stop being concerned. You need to stop doing whatever it was that put you at risk in the first place.. Intercourse with new or multiple partners, especially if you're not using a condom, anal sex and intravenous drug use (especially with needle sharing) are all high risk activities. I hope this helps.
