Culture : You could always obtain a blood culture ( lab) to detest bacteria in your blood but in reality you would know by the system wide symptoms you would have : fevers, chills, shaking, weakness etc.

Many signs: If your child has sepsis (blood poisoning ) then she will be very sick, have high fevers, and look lethargic. Cultures of the blood will show bacterial growth. This is remarkably rare from abscessed teeth, unless the child as a severe immune deficiency.

Highly unlikely: Abscessed teeth will result in infection but, not blood poisoning. Either way, a root canal or extraction if necessary will take care of the problem. Antibiotics may also be prescribed by your dentist.
