Implant consultation: Speak to your dentist, something is being misunderstood. If you feel more comfortable bring a friend or spouse to the visit for added clarification. If you need to have teeth extracted, have a treatment plan prior to the extractions so you know how exactly you would like to replace the tooth or teeth.

Expense of care...: ... is determined by the extent of your treatment. You do need to replace them since they support your bite and help you chew. The least expensive way is removable partial dentures, but the best way is dental implants with fixed prosthetics. They are quite different in price. You'll have to decide what is more important to you.

Only : your dentist can answer that question. Many of your teeth may be restorable. Others might be saved with root canal therapy and a crown. Still others may need to be removed and replaced with implants and crowns. Your dentist will examine you and make a treatment plan with your budget in mind. The longer you delay, the more expensive it will become.

Individualized: Site unseen there is no way to advise you. Dental treatment is very individualized, and what works for your neighbor may not be appropriate for you. "inexpensive" usually does not equate with "best." A removable denture may be the least expensive, but may require frequent revisions/replacements making it more expensive over time. See a Dentist for a personalized treatment plan.

Cost vs value ?: Two things to consider here. First, your own dentist who examined you and has s-rays of your teeth can explain the different treatment options along with the respective costs. Do not be embarrassed to let him/her know cost is a big factor for you. Second and more important consider that a smaller cost at this time may lead to a bigger cost not only in money, but time and comfort over the long haul
