Right: Ventricular Hypertrophy ( Enlargement of the side of the heart which pumps blood to the lung) may be seen after some time .....that "shows up" on the EKG Hope this helps Dr z

Depends on anatomy: Chronic PPHN can cause R sided enlargement of atrium and ventricle, ECG changes will show up as R axis deviation, RVH, RA enlargement, and if severe see S-T and T wave changes, but more prominently with severe Pulm HTN, all depends on what the Echo reveals with anatomy, and what type of congenital heart disease was there originally
