Sharp pains: Sharp, shooting pains are often of nerve origin and may be from impingement by intervertebral discs or spurs, or by inflammation of nerves themselves. However it's unusual to have such diffuse body involvement which is difficult to explain by a single impingement. This could be a form of fibromyalgia. If symptoms persist an evaluation by a neurologist or rheumatologist is recommended.
