Specializes in Pain Management

See pain specialist: If your doctor is a PCP, then I recommend that you find a Pain Management MD to manage your pain. If he is a pain doc, then change doctors. Tramadol is an effective analgesic but it is minimally addictive if at all; it is a schedule 4 drug meaning its like valium (the only dependence potential is psychological, not physiological like real opiates). If he is afraid of ultram, chang doctors.
