Inflammation?: Copper IUDs work by causing sterile (non-Infectious) inflammation so increased discharge or bleeding can be a result. Other symptoms are less clear. If you were to have a copper allergy you should have some signs of copper allergy from touching it regular copper on your skin externally as well
