Bruises: Hi Hard to say without a picture. Bruises are indications that there is bleeding underneath the skin or within the skin due to ruptured blood vessels. The dark color you are seeing is due to the color of blood and the iron that is in your red blood cells. Without a picture?: Could be many things but the best guess I have is that they are folliculitis. Try soap and hot water as often as is convenient. Might be best to let your doctor check it out.
