A member asked:

I have bladder pain and burning. i first felt it last week and it lasted a day. it's back today and i started macrobid. i have chills now. is that ok?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chills: Feeling chilled may be related to a rising temperature (fever on the way), particularly if there is vigorous shaking along with it. If your temperature is over 100.5 F (38.0 C) you will likely need something stronger than nitrofurantoin (so seek medical evaluation). Keep up the fluids.
