Silent disease : Diabetes is often a silent disease; one can have diabetes and have no symptoms. A patient with "extremely high sugar level" should be under a doctor's supervision, needs to engage in a regular exercise program, maintain the appropriate diet and most likely needs medication. If it goes untreated, it will have an effect on him before it does on his offspring.
